Problem: Add file paths through Revit.ini

Hi fellas!

We would like to batch insert Revit.ini to colleagues computers so that everyone gets the file paths to our template files. But it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone know why? The .ini is attached.
We placed overwrote the file here: C:\Users\>User<\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2018

I would go about this like:

Close Revit.

Rename the Revit.ini in the given folder and place it somewhere else for back-up.

Start Revit.

A new Revit.ini is created.

This is minimal needs for Revit.

Close Revit

Update this Revit.ini with your own paths.

Try and force this file and see if this works.

Forcing the Revit.ini however forces user settings to be completely ignored.

Personally I would not be happy about that.

Have not tried this method but maybe it works for you.
