Printing Issue

Hello,

I am running into an issue with objects not printing. In this case I am using Revit 2015 and when I vector print to PDF or Upload to A360 objects that are modeled do not print. Is there a fix for this problem? Screen Shot of CW not printing below.

Warm regards,

Hi @mnoe,

What happens when you select Raster Printing and set the quality to Presentation? Are the objects visible?

Furthermore, is the view itself or objects/families in any mode other than hidden line or wireframe mode? Is it without any shadows, ambient shadows, antialiasing, gradients, or depth cueing etc. turned on? (Ignore the depth cueing seeing as your currently using 2015).

If there is a very dense pattern it might cause Revit to print in Raster opposed to Vector. Not always, but sometimes, technology is funny like that as you might know. Everything works the one day and the next everything is faulty without reason...

I hope this helps! Smiley Happy

@rudi.roux

Thanks for your help! I just ran through your suggestions and here is what I found.

1. Objects/families are in hidden line mode, no shadows or gradients, anti aliasing on.

2. The printing issue seems to be only affecting curtain wall panel elements.

3. Raster Printing works, but image quality is so-so.

4. The Vector Printing method refuses to print random Panels.

5. The Vector Printing issues seem to resolve when the pattern on the panels is less dense.
