Pont Cloud making problems in Revit

Hi,

I have problems with modeling in Revit after inserting Point Cloud. When I tray to make component (model in place), it looks like points have different position every time I zoom in or zoom out(even though Point cloud is pinned), o I can't be shore if I have drawn something on the right position. Also, even simple objects, like cylinder, are not shown correctly, but they are shown like in the picture below.Capture01.PNG

I have to mention that this only happens with some Point Clouds, with others I don't have this problem. Settings in Revit and way of working are the same in every project, but results are different.

Are there any settings that should be mentioned to the company that does the scanning? Or something should be done in Revit.....

Thank you for your answers

It could be that the point cloud is located far away from the origin. Have a look at THIS entry on the Autodesk knowledge site.

It might be useful to relocate the point cloud to the origin. Also cleaning up the point cloud and removing  unnecessary points can help in better visibility and better performance. Autodesk Recap can help with all these issues.

Otherwise ask your source to relocate the point cloud and clean it up if possible.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
