Plot Line Directions

Firs off the plot lines from the tool don't adjust until you exit the tab, which is annoying as ****. There should be a way to apply changes.

Secondly most of the time, the property lines received are all heading North, even if it's a rectangle. This means that the linear way that revit deals with property lines gets to be a guessing game, especially when the property is not a square.

Is there any way to deal with this other than to mirror the direction of these lines - go SW instead of NE.

Great example of Revit ignoring RW conditions.

It's called a "reverse call", and it is quite common.  And "mirroring" the bearing direction (e.g. N/S, E/W) in the table is how you deal with it.   It's not difficult if you have a basic understanding of Cardinal Direction.

Are you getting your distances and bearings from a image of a plat or something?  If so, you could insert that image into Revit, scale it to the correct size, and then Sketch the Property Lines by tracing on top of the ones in the image. Close and convert the Sketch to a Table and correct each Line Segment as needed.  This way, you don't have to worry so much about N/S, E/W direction or inserting Lines of data.
