Hi, I have problem with revit 2019/2020 since yesterday. I not able to open any revit file include families (rta), so I tried a lot of solutions from forum but it does not work and I decide to uninstall clean and download from website. However, it was not working, I also donwload 2020version to try but it failed, totally not working, it pop yup the phrase " An unrecoverable error encountered..."

I open to autodesk desktop app, it state " your available updates are install" may I know where can I update?

I would suggest uninstalling....download and install the 2019 standard install. Do not install the 2019.0.1 update.
Where are you downloading from?
I have just uninstall 2 times, download from autodesk website with student account.
I could not find where is the 2019.2.1 version, all I can find is the add-ons, where can I updates?
It is important that you disable the anti-virus software. Verify on the Processes tab of the Task Manager that the anti-virus program in ended.
Also, it could be the "Clean Unistall " procedure you followed. There are a couple of recommended workflows published that lack, IMO.

Do a clean uninstall of the software using the procedure in the Link I provided above. Also, what is stats on you computer (i.e. OS, available harddrive space, etc.)?
I've done the clean uninstalled and successful reinstall now, the desktop is new, no problem with harddrive etc.. and anti virus has been disable. However, still not able to use.

I'm betting it is Registry related. Could be Security Permissions as well. It's important to install as Administrator. Bottom line: do a "Clean Uninstall" per the Link I sent you.
Still, would be nice to know about your computer specs.
How to solve with "security permission"?My computer is only one user without others family members or users, it is download as administrator, I have follow all the instruction from the link you gave before reinstall, Im sure it is clean uninstall. I will attach the specs for you.
