Pipes Category cut representation

Hi,

I have a section view of a strutural foundation and some pipes. I would like to improve the graphic representation of the pipes so that I could obtain the thickness of the pipe being represented, also I would like to have the pipes in projection in a different more bright color or more faded or it could be white.

I would also like to have the structural foundation projection to have white surfaces.

How can I do that? I have tried on Visibility/Graphics but apparently it's not possible to edit cut patterns of pipes category.

The view is in shaded visual style, so to change color of objects you have to edit material assigned to the objects.
