Phasing / Demo Behavior

I have a large section of storefront in an existing wall that I want to demo. I am showing the storefront and the wall it is in as being created in the Existing phase. When I indicate that the storefront is demo’d in the New Construction Phase, the wall opening gets filled in, which I believe is the default behavior. Is there a setting I can adjust so the opening where the storefront was doesn’t get filled in?

The Curtainwall was embedded into the wall or cut into the wall.  You will need to cut an opening in the existing wall around the curtain wall so that when the CW is demo'd you are left with an opening.

You can either use the wall opening tool, edit the profile, or what I like to use is a modified door family (remove the trim and all the door stuff) so I can set the exact size of the opening.
