Site Designer 2017 stuck in Desktop App

Revit Site Designer 2017 is installed and working, but it remains in the update list in Desktop App. I've seen this on two different workstations so far. I've tried various combinations of uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, and deleting the download files, but it's still there. I've seen installed updates stuck in App Manager, but this is my first in Desktop App.

That would be fine except now the little A in my system tray has the "you have new updates pending" star on it all the time despite the fact that I don't really have any new updates pending. I find that a little annoying. I kind of like it when the app lets me know when there's a new update available, you know, like it's supposed to do.

Is it a different version?  I have a few apps sitting in there that I have to install that are V2.  Stupid thing is I have to uninstall the previous version just to install the new version.  So basically the Desktop App is useless to me.

Nope, same one just keeps coming back. I can click the update button and it will launch the installer, but it gets to a point where the installer figures out that I already have Site Designer installed, then my only options are back or cancel. Looks to me like whatever is supposed to tell Desktop App that this particular update is already installed is dropping the ball.

Okay, mine says V1...and that is already installed.

Ohhhh....clicking the read more...there was an issue a while back that all the add-ins for 2017 were "Unsigned"...you could click add/ignore and it would start working just fine, but the updated version is supposed to fix that if you never clicked the add button.

So it is a newer version, they just modified the driver.

Did you by chance install the version you have with a different name?

No, but now I have a third workstation with the same results. I'd like to hear whether or not others are seeing Site Designer remain on the list of pending updates in Desktop App after install. My guess is that there's something amiss in the update, rather than Desktop App itself.

I'm seeing the same thing in my testing, so it looks like there is indeed a problem with the Site Designer 2017 update. I'll check with the developers to see if they are aware of the issue.

I just got word back from the developers that they are indeed aware of the issue and are working on a fix. No ETA at the moment.

me too. I'm having the same problem, stuck at Autodesk desktop app, can't get rid of it.

Site Designer V1, issued July 2, seems to have fixed the problem.

And now on machines with Revit 2015 installed, I'm seeing the same behavior from "Autodesk BIM 360 add-in app R7 for Autodesk Revit 2015".

Murray, I got it through Autodesk Desktop App. I believe it's a subscription benefit, which suggests that there might be a download link in accounts.autodesk.com for account holders, but I did a little spelunking there and couldn't find it.
