I having problems with random elements not displaying in halftone as set in the phasing overrides.

I have seen other posts with similar issues but haven't found a solution.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Thanks

check the elements not changing "Phase Created in " setting

are these in your live model or a linked model?

are you using filters or view templates?

Hey kadmonkee.

Thank you for your reply to my post

The elements that are not displaying in halftone are created in the "Existing Phase".

The elements are in the live model and not in the linked model.

I am using filters and view templates but the filters are not applied to the elements in question and there are also no overrides applied to these elements.

have you confirmed if any Object Style overrides have been applied?

sometimes the subcategory within a family is driving the result

Can you give a little bit more information on what they are?   Perhaps a screen grab of the view showing some of them, the view's Phase/Phase filter properties, and Phase Filter / Phasing Graphic Override windows?

Hi @johnharvey

  • Select the elements for the existing phase (do you want these elements to remain in the background?)
  • Right click and select "Override Graphics in View" > By element
  • Define a value "1" for "Surface Transparency"

It would help to analyse the issue better if you provide a screenshot of the settings.

What is the Bottom of the View Range of that view? I notice that the walls in question seem to be below the Level, and I wonder if they might be getting overridden by the <Beyond> line style.

@chrisplyler is spot on.  Make your View Range bottom to match View Depth and it will fix.
