Performing Clash detections in Revit

I was working in a interior architectural company where I will work on interior things and I will get the MEP and HVAC model from my vendors either in Revit or Naviswork format. However if I want that to attach to my model, I should attach it as a link only. Now incase if I want to perform a clash detection action, whats the procedure for that ( say: Duct model given by one vendor and the electrical model given by another vendor ) . Kindly clarify my doubts

Not sure I understand. Are you meaning you want to check interferences between 3 projects simultaneously?

you can clash linked files.

workflow :

1- make a 3d view and isolate only the category you want to clash

2- export to ifc or naviswork format

3- import in Naviswork and create a routine for your clash (clash detective)

from there, you can export the result to excel ou csv or bcf, and find a solution to exploit it (we use our own addin for bringing back the clash in Revit. here the demo : https://www.msdlbim.ca/blog/2019/7/15/revitunity

if you have any question, feel free to ask me.

You can select different models to do the interference check with links.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
