Pendant lights on slanted ceiling

I have been trying to place pendant lights on a slanted ceiling and every time I do it it appears slanted. I there a solution to these problem.

Plenty of solutions. The route to go depend on your workflow and other needs/wishes.

-Use a different (unhosted) family

-Modify the family so that it aligns with the slope of the ceiling
-Modify the family so that it incorporates an angle paremeter allowing you to modify it as needed

-Create your own family.

-Do not host it on the ceiling, but on something else (e.g workplane) that is horizontal.

 

Which solution will be the best for you depends on your project and also on future needs. Some solutions are easier/faster to implement than others. Other solutions are better for long term use.
