PDF Export printing solid lines as dotted

Hello,

I have run into a unique issue where I get different results from using the Print PDF vs Export PDF. 

What is happening is when I export a pdf using the Export PDF button in Revit, the pdf looks fine when viewed digitally through a PDF viewer (I use Bluebeam Revu) but as soon as I print a physical copy the lines appear dashed/dotted. I do not experience this issue when I use the print function and print as a PDF. I'm attaching some images to illustrate. Does anyone know why this is doing this? Is there a setting that I’m missing?

The behavior of PDF changes depending on vector/raster processing, you can select these options on both procedures bute they are located in different places: main window when exporting / Settings-Setup button when printing.

Create new Line Style with the same specification
Use Raster Processing

What do you see when you zoom in on the PDF? Do you still see a continuous line?

Could you post the sample PDF?

@Simon_Weel They look the same when zooming in on the different PDFs in a pdf viewer like Bluebeam. It's not until the PDF is physically printed that the differences show. The original images that I attached were physically printed and then scanned back in so I could attach them to the thread. Here are screenshots of the 2 pdfs zoomed in before printing to paper:

Also in regard to previous comments/questions @jvpantin2. Both have been set up to have identical settings when generating the PDF whether it is from the PDF Export  

or the Print Tool  

(ie. Vector vs Rastor, DPI, size, etc.).
