Yes.  Use divided path in a mass or adaptive generic family.

Are you trying to design an element in particular? We could see if we have other ways of design it for you.

You can try using a spline edit points and use the divide tool to achieve the same results as an array would do.

Try Railings. Place the objects to array as balusters.
