PARAMETERS FOR ADDING DIMENSIONS AND GET PERIMETER OF A SWEEP

HELLO TO ALL THE COMMUNITY,

COULD SOMEONE HELP ME CREATE OR USE A PARAMETER THAT ALLOW ME TO ADD A SET OF SIZE OR CAN I GET THE TOTAL LENGTH OF A SWEEP FOR USE ON A TABLE

You can do it as follows:

• make a Furniture Family with Shared Parameters  (Length type of paramaeters)
• load the Family it into the Project
• in Project create a  Furniture Schedule.
• in Furniture Schedule the Shared Parameters appear as Available Fields , so you can Add them to the Schedule
• for Perimeter , make a Calculated Value using Formula

I have a family site, which is prepared by a sweep and I need to get the sum of different dimensions attached image. as I can get the sum of dimensions of different families of this type.

I've made two rough screencasts on this subject .

I used a Site Family as you did.

In my first screencast I used locked angles . In the second one parametric angles . Theese angles can appear too as field in the schedule ..
