Parameter won't work with Masses in Adaptive component family.

Hello,

I have these 4 supports, which I would like to parametrize the distance between them.

1. For some reason the Length parameter works, but the Distance between them, it's not following, even though they are locked to their specific RP. Again, this is 1 support mass made, nested into an adaptive component. However if I drag the RP, the masses follow,  but the parameter still won't work.

2. Is there any way I can add a parameter for height for this mass?

Constrain it further. In the nested family add more reference planes and lock the geometry to those reference planes.

In the host family constrain the nested family through the added reference planes to the reference planes in the host family.

Great, that works, and how about the height? Can it be done in the nested family? The element as you can see is split in 2 elements about halfway through. they should be always connected, so I want to stretch the geometry up and down, in 2 parameters so to speak. Would that work in here, or it should be done in the first family?

Where the square is, I want the 2 objects to be locked. and when I change any of the 2 parameters, they should change without disrupting the connection between them. I can't seem to figure this out..

I would host the supports to the Work Planes of Host-Driven, Parametrically-Controlled Ref. Points.
