Panel schedule template name as parameter

I Google this, but stuck with last step, see pix.

I replied to your MEP thread with this: There isn't a Panel Schedule name parameter to add but you could add your own text in a field in the header of the schedule that matches the panel template's name.

The instructions you show in your post are for creating a shared parameter to store such a value but that won't "pull" the panel schedule template name into it. There is no need for a custom parameter, just add the text like the other labels are for header information in the panel schedule template.

Thanks Steve,

I guess this simple parameter is not even available in v2026 ?

I was looking for a way to automate this routine, rather than copy and paste, an error prompt method.

(Well, I don't mind doing it 20 times for what we have now)

No, it's not something they've thought to make an available parameter within the template itself. As you say, if you put the info in the template once now it will be there forever afterward.
