Opening and modifying Revit 2014 files in Revit LT 2022

I have been using Revit 2014 for many years. Now, I am considering updating my software. Since I have no need for the functions Revit Full offers, I am interested in Revit LT. I downloaded a trial version, but it seems it cannot open my older Revit files.I need to be able to modify my designs. Is there a way to open and modify Revit 2014 files in Revit LT 2022? My 2014 licence is still valid, so I can e.g. save my files as a different format if this helps.

You may be out of luck. Do you have a way to upgrade it sequentially through each  Version - Auditing it along the way?

4+ versions apart is always troublesome...I have just tested and was able to upgrade 2014 to 2018 version (with minor errors and broken families) your best shot would be to try install the oldest version possible/available for download (I think its 2019 now) and see if that can upgrade the 2014
