open SKP in Revit LT 2018

Best users of Revit LT 2018,

Signing up for Revit LT 2018, I was told i could also edit SKP files in my Revit LT 2018. But i didn't succeed yet.

Import SKP will not open my files. They are saved as a V7 or V8 file. Still it is not working.

Does anyone know how i can edit it?

Revit/Revit LT can import/link in a SKP file.  Go to Insert Tab of Ribbon, Choose Link or Import CAD.  When window opens up...go to Files of Type and change to SKP.  Select SKP file from your drive location.  Choose options for importing/linking.  Click OK.

You can change how the SKP looks in Revit via the Visibility/Graphics Dialog Box (VV/VG).  You can snap to the content and select the content depending on how it was built.  Revit typically treats the SKP as a single entity but you may be able to Tab into the objects of the SKP file to change it's appearance via Override in Graphics by Element/Category.

This is what i tried already. Revit says cannot open file. When i save the
file on desk or on my extended, Revit says it can not locate it.

can you send the file to me?  I want to see if the issue is with the SKP file or your software or your hardware.  If you send the file to me and my workstation can see and import/open it, then the file is fine and the issue lies with your Revit software and/or workstation.  If I cannot open/import the SKP file, then the issue is with the SKP file.

Can you try to export the SKP file to a CAD dwg and then link that dwg in Revit?
