Objects don't cast any shadow

Hello,

My problem is that nothing casts shadows.

In "Graphic Display Options" i tried to change everything like exposure, sun position, shadows, but no success

Like in the picture below, there's no sharp shadow silhouette of the building or anything.

Thoguh strangely when i put a wall outside of the 'grass', it starts to cast shadows.

When i turn off ambient shadows:

What could be the problem?

Maybe some material problem? What can i do?

The grass is just a thin floor element..

Hmm now it is strange..

i did a quick render, and there the shadows are showing nicely.

But in normal views,  i don't see any shadows, so i won't know where the shadows will be in my render..

Is there some setting that disables shadows in the simple 3D preview to save computing power or something?

If you change it to Shaded or Consistent mode, do the shadow show up?
