I might be missing something (or being dense), but I've done the same thing by filtering so only doors are selected. I tagged all successfully but they are numbered sequentially. I thought there was a way to give them all the same number.

I thought you wanted to tag a them. If you want just to change them to the same number then follow @RDAOU post.

oop....check the answer above. Create door schedule. Then set to a parameter you want to change. Then in the grouping, check OFF the itemized all. Then you go in and change the value. This will update to all the doors simultaneously.
you could use Type mark
