Note Blocks cannot Merge Headers?

I cannot seem to 'Merge Headers' in a Note Blocks. Is this a known shortcoming (different than 'true schedules'), or am I missing something.

Do you mean Group Headers?  Works here.

Both Merge/Unmerge and Group/Ungroup

ok, I need to put down the crack pipe. I was highlighting the 'lettered headers (A, B, C, etc)' at which time, both Merge and Group were not available. When I selected the 'named headers' the normal options became available. 15 years using Revit / noob mistake. derp. Thanks all.
