Hey All,

I'm trying to select objects with my cursor. However, I am not able to select elements individually. I have attached the screenshot. It would be great if anyone could help.

It is not clear what you are doing or what you are trying to select....

  1. Are you trying to select elements using a crossing window?
  2. Are you trying to select the walls? the pipes? 1 pipe?

See possible options below:

  • Check the Select settings and maybe uncheck what you do not want to select
  • Check if the element you are trying to select are pinned or underlay and if the selection setting is unchecked for those elements...in such case you wont be able to select them
  • For a cross window selection you need to left click and drag cursor while holding left button - only release after you have made the selection

It's not evident what kind of manipulation you are doing. Is it a linked file that you're working with?

Try pointing your mouse to the element you wish to select and use the "TAB" key on your keyboard to cycle through the selection options until your desired element is highlighted. You then click to select.
