No point were found in the file

Hi all,

I'm trying to import a .CSV file in Revit to create the toposurface but 2 errors appear:

No point were found in the file

- Some rows from the file could not be used

I've tryed the same points value with a .TXT file an it works correctly.

Does anyone knows why is that happening? Please find screenshots of both files; .CSV and .TXT

Many thanks in advance

PD (I've already tried with all the different CSV formats and changing commas per points...but still doesn't work)

I don't know if this is the issue, but your Excel screenshot is showing commas for your decimal separator, whereas the TXT file is using periods.

CHECK YOUR FILE FORMAT RIGHT *.CSV OR SOMETHINGS.

ALSO COMMA, DOTS NOT IN ISSUE. WE NEED TO PLACE SEPARATE COLUMN (XYZ).

SAVES YOUR EXCEL SHEET LIKE (COMMA SEPARATED VALUES FILE)

Does anyone have solution for this problem, I can't import coordinates from csv file to revit topography. Revit writes "No points were found" and "Some rows from the file could not be used".

I read all topic for this problem on forum and anything wasn't help me.

I use Revit LT 2021

same here. When i can get it to come in, it is mixing values from x and z, so the surface is basically vertical.

X and Y of every point are the same so of course a vertical line is what you get.
