no mass shape options preview, bug?

hello, from some months ago, when I work in masses, I don´t see the shapes preview window where you choose the kind of shape to generate, plane, extrusion, sphere...

is in revit 2021.1.16

I didn´t find option to manually deactivate that, so maybe it is a bug?

if someone know the soltion, I will appreciate

The preview maybe on a different monitor.

Happens to me from time to time.  No biggie though.  Zoom to Fit and restart Create Form usually does the trick.

no, that is the problem, maybe is shown out of the range of the screen, because I can accept the default option, but not choose

Not every form creation has 2 options.  Sounds like you are saying the Revit is just creating a 3D form without giving you the choice to pick between options (e.g. Extrusion, Surface, Sphere). Is that right?  If Revit is proceeding without your input, then there are no other options available.  If there were, then Revit wouldn't be able to proceed and make the form without your selection.

no, for example also when can do prism or face (only do prism) or sphere/cylinder (only do cylinder)

I put you pictures before and after with just a circle, NO options to Choose

I know reinstalling is an option, but we are always very busy and in the middle of a big project

Have you looked at the other screen?  As I showed you earlier, the option is not in the same Revit screen.

In the case of the circle, making sure that it is not a reference line usually does the trick. And zooming out to the default view distance should allow you to see the form selection menu if that isn't showing up normally.

The trick that I use is that:

Zoom out in your canvas to make a larger space, draw a big circle on the canvas then pick the “create form” 9 out of 10 you will get the options that we should every time expect to get, choose the one you want and make the circle into a sphere. Now you can go and choose your preferred object and pick “create form” again, this time the options you were looking for are available to implement.

I hope it did work.
