No Glass Curtain Wall

I am trying to make wall studs which I use the system family: Curtain wall, but I if i put the "curtain panel" option to "none" it still uses the "system panel: glaze" so there is still glass. I dont know if using a curtain panel is the best way to model studs(they are exposed so i they need to be modeled) and it's helpful to know if there's a better way but I just want to figure out how to empty the curtain wall with only mullions on.

you can edit your system panel glass > remove the glass and saveas empty system panel and load into your projects and see if helps. thanks

Can't Find Empty System Panel

Nachricht 5 von 11

Loaded it and it worked, I thought It really could not browse the empty,, i just needed to load the "empty panel" even if it appears to be in the Family in the project browser

but the big problem here is that you can't apply the empty panel to slots with more than 4 sides

The one you loaded only works for rectangular shapes.  You want to transfer the empty system panel from the architectural project template.

Hi, forgive the tag along. How do you edit the system panel to remove the glass?

Download this file > Transfer Project Standards > Curtain Wall Types - to bring the Empty System Panel to your project.  Or, copyclip the curtain wall from this file and paste onto your project.
