Nesting family, illogical larg size on file

Hey

I have made a family for my stair i want my customers to use. I tried to put the finished family with tons of instance parameters inside of an new empty family to hide all the parameters that the users aren't supposed to use. The new family gets increadible larg(see picture). How can it distinguish this mutch and are there any work rounds? i have tried saved it with multiple options multiple times, it doesnt make any bigger differense.

Maybe not adding a ton of instance parameters.

Did you Purge the families?

And for whats it's worth - tons of instance parameters will make that family tedious to work with....

yes, all nested families within  this is purged
