Nested Generic annotations

i have a electrical fixture family that has a Generic annotation symbol inside. Once i load the family into any project and place it. the nested generic Annotation doesn't show. However the view is parallel and the any other detail item shows perfectly 

 

Anyone can help please

There are Visibility Parameters associated with the Symbol. Are those boxes checked?

i have a ceiling plan which suppose to be parallel to the view. however i tried to put a symbol  line in the family  it showed perfectly in ceiling plan

So, it's hosted to a Ceiling and you are in a Ceiling Plan View looking up at it?  

 

...are you sure it is within the View Range?

Crazy. I've tried six ways from Sunday to get it NOT to show. I failed every time. Darn thing's visibility is bulletproof.  HA!
