I have an electrical family with a nested generic annotation. When I nest that into a specialty equipment family then the generic annotation will not show up.
I have the exact same electrical family in the project and everything show beautifully. They all have that nested generic annotation showing.
Any ideas?

I had to make sure I got the same problem with another family. The one I am working with is a proprietary family for a client. Sure enough, same thing happened.

I set the electrical fixture as shared
That way it make the symbols to show up magically.
I can't see the symbols with 2019 and 2020. So it maybe fixed in new version.
I did not want to make my electrical shared because it is the project electrical family. What I did was to make a copy and give it a new name and shared it.
That worked and my team will be thrilled with this chef's table I am putting into the new restaurant project template.
Thanks
