nested family misbehaving

Hi all,

I have an nested undercounter lav that cuts a nested countertop.  It looks perfect in the family editor but when I load it into a project the cut disappears.  Is this not possible?  Family attached.

The nested countertop family must not be Shared. The nested sink can be Shared, the way it is.
