Nested annotations not showing on view with sloped ceiling

I'm working on a project with an angled ceiling. On the sloped ceiling there are a lot of families which have annotations nested within them, but the annotations have become invisible under the angle.

I tried to create a section view with that same angle but they still don't show up there.

Does anyone have an idea on how to work around this problem?

instead of Annotation Text use Model Text set to a really thin thickness.

Does checking "Always Vertical", "Work Plane-Based" in the Family work for you?

The annotation symbols need to be parallel with the level. What you need to do is going to depend on how you anticipate the need for this in the future. It is possible to account for any angle but it gets very complicated. If this is a one off thing for your, you could do one a few workarounds. The middle ground is making the family able to account for select angles and then adjust if a need for something other than those comes up.

I've already tried creating a view that looks down on the annotation straight, but it still didn't show up. It might not be precise enough but I'd think eleven degrees is 11 degrees.

Always vertical was already checked. Checking workplane based didn't make a difference.

As I said, you need to make the annotation (within the family) parallel with the level (view) and it has to be exact.
