Need to show dimensional information on structural column on schedule.

I'm trying to add a field for dimension "d" as a  field in my structural column. schedule. I realize this is a family parameter so when I try to change to shared parameter, the okay button is greyed out as shown.

In the picture you've posted, it seems you've not actually selected a shared parameter yet.

Does it still stay greyed out even after you click on Select and select a parameter from your Shared Parameters list to replace the "d" parameter?
