I need a detailed lesson or course explaining revit stairs particularly on how to calculate the slopes and edit and change them. Can someone please share the link to any such tutorials if available . My need arises in an area where the slope is not restricted by code but rather constrained by space so i may need to connect two levels at steep slopes and i need to change the starting and ending of the stairs according to my available space easily

Divide the height of the stair by the amount of treads that will fit into the horizontal space to get the required riser height. Set this in Maximum riser height under the calculation rules.

It's always about code.
Have you considered a spiral?
It's actually for modelling an external stair to fit the landscape . It does'nt come under the codal provisions so i only had a lateral constraint but the angle could go as steep as it could . (i.e practicalble as possible) . Thanks for the spiral idea , i'll look into it
could you provide me with the full material of that page you posted, i dont think it's in my country code , would be really helpful . thanks in advance
tried this out , kinda works ut not exactly as i wanted . But really helps . Also ,as i was doing this changing no of stairs required and actual no of stairs is an easier way to change slope too!
