Need Help-Get Spot Elevation

Hi, I tried to place a Spot Elevation on the ceiling plan. Somehow, Revit doesn't allow me to place the spot, and shows a symbol like I drew. Can anyone have an idea to solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

The view Visual style is set to Wireframe

Change the visual style to Hidden Lines or any other mode/style
