Welcome to the forum and thanks for reaching out. As mentioned by @_Vijay, you have to be in a 3D view to render. Otherwise, please take a look at following discussions:

If still cannot in 3D view as mentioned in the reply try to repair or reinstall the program . It could be some program files are corrupted just saying . Thanks
