Multiple Visibility Parameters

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to have multiple visibility parameters on one element in a family. For instance, I have an exit sign with a plan symbol. I want the arrows to turn on and off when I change the family type from one side to the other and for a two sided sign, and I also want to be able to turn off each individual left and right arrow.

So, the element is not visible in elevation views?

Visibility Settings can do this.

Also, Share and Nest the element into the Parent Family. That way you can control whether or not it is Visible in a Project View via Hide in View By Element or By Filter. If the element is assigned to its own Subcategory, you can also Hide in View by unchecking that Subcategory under VGOs.

you can play with visibility parameters in Revit so to have multiple Views in the same Family.

in my example I show in a simplified way , how can you place multiple Detail Items into a Generic Model and how to make different types into this family by showing only selected items:
