Multiple Floors at different elevation heights on one plan view

Hello, 

I have a overall proj. file that has several building models linked into it. Some of the buildings are higher above sea level than others, which affects the different floor heights per building. Is there a way to manipulate a level to go from one floor height to another at a different height and show it on the same level without  seeing other floors.

For instance:

First Floor starting height in building 1 is 7'6" and extends up to 21'6"

First Floor starting height in building 2 is 12'8 and extends up to 26'8"

How can I show both floors on one level without showing the floor above in building 1?

You can set the RVTlink Display settings to show By Link >> then set it to show 2nd floor from the link instead 1st floor

Repeat for other linked models...See GIF below

If for some reason you need the links to display by host...you can use instead of the above a Plan Region (however, this might get cumbersome if you have too many linked buildings)

Will that work if I wanted to be able to set different levels and then click through them as if I was in one building Model?

if I understand your issue... you could use Plan Regions. Plan regions let you place a shape around an area (building) and set the view range separately in that region. https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2020/ENU/?guid=GUID-594B7B97-0D59-4B03-9544-E403BD03BE48

Pick the building to be the default view range, then place a plan region around the other building and set the view range to show the floor plan for that building.

You said they are linked models...so you will be able to click through them as Links in the same model..

If your intent is to have all the links imported/consolidated in ONE model you will have to first bind the links and then use plan region...but that is not really what I would call a good idea!!! considering that plan regions

1. will get cumbersome if you have too many buildings
2. will not function properly in case of overlapping plan regions 
3. is bugged when it comes to RCP view range
