I believe I know the answer, but I hope I am wrong.

Is there a way to select and/or show all camera locations in a plan view?

Hoping to make a key plan as well as view and delete unwanted cameras.

What I have done in the past is making use of Dynamo.

I was in a similar situation were I needed a "map" of the camera locations to indicate the location of the different renders. With dynamo I extracted the location of the camera and placed a family on that place pointing in the (approximate) camera direction

Sounds great!  Unfortunately, my Dynamo skills are currently poor at best.

Someday though...  However, I will look into this as that would certainly be a good one!

@Anonymous, I have looked for the script I have used. I needed it quick so it is not the most elegant one.

What it does is:

It looks for perspective views inside the project (the camera views)

Then it finds the origin and direction of that view (i.e. camera)

Then it places a family instance at that point and with that direction

As the family is workplane placed I first have to select a face (a floor in this instance) to host the camera family .

Hopefully a starting point for your dynamo endeavors.

Why didn't you use an Entourage Family?  Maybe have "Alex" standing there looking in the direction the camera is pointed? ...or "Cathy", "Cynthia" or "Florence".  he, he.

They can get creepy if you have cameras pointing to certain types of spaces.
