Multi line text tag

Rv has multiline text parameter and I wd like to utilize it. However I failed. This is what I did:

1. Made generic model family.

2. Created share multiline text parameter called "desc" and place in "text" category.

3. Made some multiline text in the text box at "..." box.

4. Made generic model tag.

5. Load both to project and tag the item. The tag did not work.

What have I missed.

Pls don't advise me to use keynotes, I hate it.

Hi,

I think you have to add the same shared parameter to your project as a Project Parameter to make it work. Or did you make a nested family? Can you share the family for research?

I don't see any mention of labels, so I assume that's your issue. Labels are what read parameters, not the text tool. Load the shared parameter into your new tag family, add a label to your tag, then apply the shared parameter to the label.
