moving floors to new level

Hi all,

I have modelled plans separately in Revit, and I defined one level wrong . Would you please tell me how i can

align and put different floors in different levels.

Hi,

Select walls from the upper floor.
Change Base & Top constraints.
Go to the upper floor plan, set underlay to your lower floor plan.
Select the walls again and move into place.

Thank you so much.I am faced with doing it.Because I have put the families

such as windows and door in walls. It occurs error according to you advice.
I want to export my model correctly to Radiance or Ecotect , do you know which
way is better to do. I am trying to export EXML format but I can not .

Hi,

Sorry, I didn't noticed the doors and windows in the image.
Anyway, you'll need to add one step in the process.
Select the upper floor walls set the top constraint (leave the base constraint as is)
Now, select all doors and windows in the upper level walls, set the level to the upper floor level.
Select the walls again and set the base constraint.
What kind of error are you getting with the exml export?

I would like to thank you so much again.When I move the walls to new position which you advised me I see the error messages.To export? exml? I am putting the room inside walls but for example I am facing with the following error:

Room 633 is not upper bounded by a roof, ceiling or floor element. This can result in incorrect adjacencies and voids in the analytical model. Please ensure that Upper Limit and Limit Offset for Room 633 is set correctly.

Hi,

Have you modeled floors and ceilings & roofs in your project?
Make sure that these are room bounding and also that the rooms are on correct level. You can cut&paste them into the correct level if necessary.

Hi dear,

I have modeled the roofs and floors but the height? of floors is different.For example, in ground floor is 380 cm and in the first floor is 3.20. It also shows just one level in my? model and I am not be able to define two level or story .Therefore, I am trying to export to gbXML and later I will align floors in another program bu I can not.

Hi,

To get more levels in your model, go to section and copy the level.
Or create a new one Architecture>Datum>Level
