Modifying Section Head Sizes, Section not adjusting

I have a weird thing happening with Revit section marks. I enlarged a section head from 12 to 15mm for a client standard but now the section line itself is not adjusting to the edge of the head. is there a setting somewhere that my brain has forgotten about? I'm currently in 2024 but the issue is replicated in 2023 as well.

Hey, seems like even though the right reference in the section head family isn't set to "Defies Origin", in this particular case it still does determine where the line originates from. So I think you would need to move the left reference further left, and then adjust all other labels, lines and fills to match the new size. Or move both left and right references further apart which might also do it.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply. The mistake I did was I had moved both reference planes and you reply gave me the insight I needed. I didn't realize that the right ref plane shouldn't be moved and is supposed to be pinned as it is in a new blank family. I went back on my steps, pinned the right plane and adjusted the left and now all is good.
