trying to get my garage concrete slab to slope towards the garage door opening, is there any way to add point right on the edge of the floor boundary? so it slopes towards the middle point of one edge of the floor?

If you draw a flat slab/floor you can use the Shape Editing Panel to Modify Sub Elements to achieve said slope.  simply Add a Point to the edge in question and select it and edit the 0 value to a - value

You can also add slope arrows

Ok great worked out! somehow at first it wouldn't let me place a point right on the edge of the slab, and was doing weird geometry, but worked out now! thanks for the help! learned a new trick.
