I am trying to create a parking lot/sidewalk on my site with the subregion tab and the tools under Modify Site are not available. I have tried everything; forums, youtude, even downloaded a file from someone who was having troble with someting else and their subregion tab was highlighted, (I was checking to make sure it wasn't my computer). I don't know what to do, PLEASE HELP.

Modify Site palette is active onece you creat a topography. At the present moment you seem to have only an image.

- First Go to Model Site > Toposurface.

- Model your site

- then you get access to the Modify Site

@Anonymous  Just opened your model...and it's exactly what @RDAOU mentioned.  You have to have a topography object created in order to use the subregion.

Currently you have an inserted image and that's it.

On a side note...hopefully you are leaving yourself a lot of area for parking for a building that large on that site.

Attaching the file is not going to do a miracle in solving your problem. Well unless...

Your file has only a .PNG image...ie: Not a topographic object you can split or modify or do whatever with...You need to either:

  1. Drop the points yourself and give them levels (Starting from Toposurface Tab in the Ribbon) ... then, once done, you can have access to the tools you are asking about
  2. If you have a survey file with coordinates (which I doubt) you can import it and use it to create your site topography...THEN you have access to the tools you are inquiring about!
