Modify / Edit Boundary of an object in Main Model while working in Option mode

Hi,

While working in Option mode it is possible to select objects from Main Model by simply unchecking "Active Only" box at the bottom of the screen.

However, with this box unchecked it is still impossible to use tools from Modify tab. For example I cannot trim or split the boundary lines of a floor in the main model. It requires me to do some extra manual work to finish a simple task. Is there a way to make this tab useable in an Option mode?

You need to work within Dedicated Views.  Dedicated Views are integral to the Design Option Workflow.

No. You need to finish editing the design option and switch back to main model to fully edit elements in main model.
