Modify default wall reveal family

How do you modify (or making adjustments) to Revit default wall reveal family (without going through the hoop of create a new profile family). I just want to be able to make thinner ones from it, and that's all.

You can't. I can make Profile shape parametrically controlled by Type Parameters and create different Family Types to use in Sweep Types.
