Modeling a sloped wall

I am doing an architectural drawing of a movie theater in Revit LT 2019. There is a requirement to place a sloped wall along side rows of seats that slope down form around 48" to the floor. The wall has to be 3' 6" taller than the structure that creates the rows of seats. The wall is there as a safety feature and will be used in stead of a railing. I'll place a sectional view of the seat staging below so you can see where the wall goes. I tried to model the wall as a generic component. I managed to actually create the wall, but when it was imported into my project it was laying on it's side, not standing up. Is there a way to change the orientation of the wall so it will import into a floor plan view standing up? Or, is there simply a better way to create the wall? I have only been using Revit LT for about 10 days now, and I have no background in CAD software of any kind. Any amount of help will be greatly appreciated!

Why not use Revit Basic Wall Type for this?  It seems your making more complicated than it needs to be.  If it's truly a "sloped" wall, and not different height walls as your picture shows, then use Edit Profile and slope the sketch boundary of the wall.

Thanks for the help. That was indeed easier than I was imagining it to be.

Hello

Editing profile is one easy way for a liner wall..

Another way is to attache with Reference lines.. so that moving reference lines will adjust walls easily...

Split walls wherever heights are changing.

just in case in future you want to have a curve wall in plan and sloped in elevation then

this might help you..

Wall attached to reference.. very handy for curved walls in particular..but can be used for linear wall instead of editing profile..Wall attached to reference.. very handy for curved walls in particular..but can be used for linear wall instead of editing profile..

You're welcome, Bill.  Glad to help.  Would you mind marking my post as the accepted solution then?  I'd appreciate it.

Cheers.

Hi

I tried to do the edit boudaries on the wall  ..  but it only works in plan view or elevation ..  you cant edit the edge of the walll to make it slope vertically

Can you tell me how to slope it vertically ?
