Model text and preserving font

Hi, I have a question that I couldn't seem to find the answer to using google.

If I create model text in Revit, will the font be maintained within the Revit file? Or if my colleague opens the file and lacks that font, will it be replaced with Arial?

If it's the second, how can I trace the model text? Making a regular generic model, I cannot seem to trace/select the lines of the model text.

Thanks!

Your colleagues need the same font.  If they don't have it, you can export the model text to SAT and import it back in Revit as a family, an in place family, or directly in the project.

you can also share the font with them to install.

Thanks @ToanDN! Seems that will have to be the solution then.
