Model (static) text in Detail Component Families

I'm currently trying to make a set of detail components for a set of signage details for my firm's detail library, and want to set up a number of detail components that consist of just the signage, but have no idea how to include text in a detail component in a way such that it is locked to the scale of the item, rather than scaling to paper space when adding it to a drawing (Ie: i want it to behave like model text, rather than annotation text). for instance, if I'm building a detail component of a "No Parking" sign, then i want the "no Parking" text to scale with the sign, rather than remaining at the same size regardless of what scale the drawing is at. I was thinking of doing it similar to model text, but obviously model text isn't available when making a detail component...

I am guessing you do not want to use a thin model text for the wording, correct?

You could try to make the text in autocad and then import it into your revit family.

It would be nice if they had something similar to model text but made from a filled region type object.

Yeah, that's what i was afraid of... I did try the AutoCAD thing, since that was the closest option i could find, though I've found that AutoCAD imports have buggy behavior, especially with curves in text objects, so i was hoping to avoid it. Would be nice if they added it though.
