Model monolith ramp and curb with hosted railing

Hello,

I am revising the design of a ramp on my site to reflect the actual formed monolithic structure:

To model this, I swept the cross section along the ramp profile with no issues.

But now I can't host my railing to the monolithic ramp, whether modelled as a Site or Floor category.

Currently it is hosted to a wall which is hidden from view:

So how can I model the monolithic ramp and maintain the ability to host my railing to it

Thank you.

Slab edge will work on only horizontal edges.

Could it be owing to the fact that I have a variable thickness ramp with modified sub elements?

It is fixable.  Modify the slab edge profile so that the slab edge overlaps the floor (ramp) a bit more (like a whole 1", not 1/32"), then you will be able to join them.

This fixed it, great suggestion.

The only issue that remains is that the internal faces/edges remain visible in section. But the joined profile is looking great.

Modifying linework doesn't give me the ability to remove these individual segments without impacting the profile itself, and I would have to redraw detail lines in to fix it.

Edit the slab edge type and change its material to the same as the floor (ramp).
