Did you save?

If is a central model, did someone save over it with their model?

Admin permission has nothing to do with being able to save overwrite a central file.  Can you answer the previous two questions?

Saving and synching are different operations when working with a central model. Save only overwrites the local file, a synch is required for the changes to be in the central model. If it is a central model and you only saved, upon opening, Revit should tell you that your local contains changes that have not been synched to the central model.
