Model Geometry Projection Lines showing as Cut Line lineweight

I am using Revit 2016 and am having an issue with model geometry showing up in orthographic views as all one heavy lineweight.  The projection lines appear to be showing as the same line weight as cut lines.  However, changing the projection line overrides has no effect on the projection lines.  Changing the cut line work override lineweight does change lines cut in view, but has no effect on the projection lines.  Does any one know why or how to fix this?  If it was just one family I could see it being something wrong with the family, but I notice it in all geometry (casework, walls, generic, etc.).

Ideas:

1. If your geometry is being displayed as an underlay or a state similar to underlay - and this could be the case for a few different reasons such as; it's actually set as an underlay, you're in a view discipline such as one of the MEP ones that turns all non-MEP elements into an underlay, it's being treated as an underlay because of your phase and phase filter settings, etc. - then the line weight/color/pattern settings will be overridden by the halftone/underlay settings.

2. Depending on the linewidth settings by scale, sometimes the difference between 6 and 8 is pretty noticable but the difference between 1 and 3 is not.

Thanks for the response. I actually figured it out. It was an issue with the view template assigned to the view. It was using a view template for a plan view not an elevation view. Switched view templates and it resolved the issue.
